I have always been facinated with the body. I practiced ballet when I was younger. Loved it. My favorite part other than the tutu was the stretching. I found my way to yoga when I was 15, a brief introduction but it was enough. Over the years I came back to yoga mainly because it felt good. Life threw obstacles and took turns I would not expect. I always found my way back to the practice. Back to the mat. At first yoga was a way to recover from an injury, a suggested form of exercise. When I started practicing yoga for my mental well-being, it changed my perspective. It was, and continues to be a beautiful way to confront my emotions. Yoga created a way for me to clear my mind and rest my body, to hold space in a safe way. Through yoga my intention is to share this with you. I would love to guide you through a sequence that leaves you feeling energetic, renewed, and positive throughout your day.
Hello there! I have worked with a range of ages and body-types. I enjoy helping my students achieve their goals. I have seen improvement in motion and flexibility in as little as one class. I have a fun-loving nature and bring that into every class. I ensure the mind-body connection is available to the student to get the full benefits of yoga. I am a bit of a booklover you can always find me reading a new story or revisiting a favorite. I have a wonderful old pup that loves to do yoga with me, and a cat that couldn’t care less. I have always enjoyed the beach and swimming in the ocean. Hiking is another huge part of my love of nature. Connection with nature is a beautiful way to slow down and enjoy the moment. I enjoy these with my whole heart.
